Triumph Women of Inspiration Event

I was very lucky to be able to attend the Triumph Women of Inspiration Event with Elise in Melbourne on Saturday 27th October with Ita Buttrose (a huge inspiration), Deborah Thomas and the beautiful Jesinta Campbell, and let me begin by saying I left feeling incredibly inspired.

Ita Buttrose, in my opinion, is the most amazing woman in Australian media and has pioneered the way for so many women in media to be treated as equals to men and given them the opportunity to have jobs in high places. For those of you that may not know, Ita was the founding editor of Cleo (you must watch Paper Giants if you haven't as yet!) and is basically a super woman. She is a highly successful journalist, businesswoman and mother - proof to any woman, that you can be successful in business and be a mother. One thing I loved about Ita was her personality, she was so lovely and chatted to Elise and I after the event telling us about her family and asking about us, I was almost speechless! And I loved her attitude, she reminds herself on a bad day that tomorrow will be better and gets on with life, something I will adapt to my own life.

Jesinta Campbell has done extremely well for herself and deserves every success that comes her way, she is truly a beautiful person with a kind heart and is very determined. She shared about her inspiration in life being her mother and about her tenacious desire to achieve greater things with her mantra in life being a quote from Nelson Mandela, "we ask ourselves who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you NOT to be? You are a child of God.  Your playing small does not serve the world." She is definitely very wise for her age, and if anyone out there believes she is just a pretty face, think again!

And then we were treated to a viewing of some of Triumph's new range, which included some beautiful pieces classic piece, shape enhancers (these things are brilliant) and some gorgeous intimate apparel with a pop of colour, perfect for Spring! You must go out and have a look at the range for yourself, you will be tempted but rightly so, the range is gorgeous and fantastic quality. Oh and another tip for the ladies: if you want to get the most out of your bra, wash it with each wear and don't put it in the dryer!
