Sometimes it's really (and I mean really) hard to find different things to do with long hair, that don't involve youtube tutorials, a visit to a hair stylist or hours of brushing out and starting again. So the other night I was lying down on the couch, thinking about what I could do with my long hair - I was watching The Nanny which is what I believe prompted my thought process.
So I started plaiting my hair lying down - think of a flat plait laying above my head as I lie down. I wish I took a picture of it so you could have a visual, but I didn't as it was somewhat impossible to do so and my other half wasn't home so I'm afraid this one you will have to visualise in your minds! Then I placed the plait on my head in a royal fashion (I say this as I now refer to this look as the "plait crown-bun"), placed some bobby pins in strategically to keep my locks in place and voila - a fun, easy and effective hair-do that can be dressed up or dressed down for those of you with long locks!

Oh and just because I'm really into the plaits at the moment, here is a picutre of my work-do for today!
