New York City

I came home one day after having an itching desire to do something, so I created this little piece and gave Ben a proposal...

I was proud as punch and was expecting at least some sort of recognition for my work, instead the reply was: "how about we visit first?"

Ben is my sane other half, I tend to be a little bit over excited, crazy and well a little bit of a handful - but Ben balances me out perfectly. I would love the idea of packing up our lives and moving to the city that never sleeps but then I would miss my friends, my family and my blue heeler Jessie! So the plan is to instead visit the Big Apple with the hope of feeling like I have fulfilled a life long dream, so as this is very likely happening in the coming months I need to know - where should I go? Are there any special little cafes, restaurants or bakeries that aren't well known of but are the definition of NYC?

I can't wait to breathe in the air of Manhattan and see the style that exudes from within the city. I can't wait to experience the lifestyle and dine with the locals, and I can't wait to be captivated by the city that is filled with so many different cultures and lifestyles.

Oh and if you haven't yet - pop over to my new Facebook page (click here) and like it - it would mean a lot!
